Hi Tonya,
I stumbled across your blog and surprised to find how many of the same people we follow (like pasha and natalia, vaidas and Jurga). I'm from san francisco, so I've taken lessons with them. Are you currently competing? I wonder if you know the group of NY dancers like... Davis yang, Ting Ting, Sandy Chen etc.

Pavlo and Natalia did well, took first at IGB. By the way he was not at Manhattan watching, he didnt go to he competition

Oh that sucks about Vaidas and Jurga, Tamar! I am really going to miss them. I wish they'd at least do Ohio Star Ball so I can see them once more?... They're too young to retire!

Sorry to say, Vaidas said a few weeks ago (in an informal conversation; no official announcement to my knowledge) that he and Jurga have retired from competing...Blackpool was their last competition.

On the up side, perhaps, Pavlo B. and new partner Natalia will be competing this weekend at IGB. So if it works out, perhaps you will see them on the East Coast soon!
